37003 & 37004 Field Service Corrective Action

The following steps outline how to replace the cupholders
*NOTE* Care is to be taken and before anything is started, ensure power is disconnected

Required equipment:

On protective material, lay unit face down on ottoman side and remove plastic cupholder insert and (3) screws from each LED cupholder.

Carefully remove all cable-ties from the floor rail and disconnect power supply. Then remove Ycable and secondary Y-cable.

Slowly pull-out LED cupholder and remove any cable-ties on wires. Then cut wires on bottom of the LED cupholder and separate(untie) wires. Then tie wires from new cupholder onto the cut wires according to colors (blue/blue & black/black) and feed wires back into the hole and screw new LED cupholder into place and reinsert plastic cupholder inserts.

On bottom side of unit, carefully pull (3) old wires out tied to new wires from the of the bottom of the arm (trying not to tear the bottom arm cover), then untie blue LED wire. Disconnect old and reconnect new(blue) LED wire to LED lights and tuck loose wire back into the arm.

Untie remaining cupholder wires from new wires and connect “New” Y-cable to remaining wires at bottom of arm and feed excess wires back into arm cover on both arms and secure new Y-cable to ends of floor rail. Then neatly secure remaining wires to floor rail with cable-ties. Next connect both old and new power supply and tuck back into plastic bag, then secure to floor rail with (2) long cable ties and remove excess cable-tie with cutters.
